Nazareth Ruiru Hospital »

Nazareth Ruiru Hospital is a branch of Nazareth Hospital in Kiambu .
Nazareth Hospital is a mission Hospital under the Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi. It is a non-profit making hospital providing quality health care services to the marginalized at subsidized cost. It is under the Management of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (FIHM)
The aim of starting Nazareth Ruiru Hospital is to take services closer to the people.
The Nazareth Ruiru Hospital was started as a Dispensary in August 2009. The official opening took place on 15th August 2009 and was graced by many Ruiru leaders and community members.
The number of patients attending the clinic increased steadily and by the end of eight months, the clinic was approved by the Poisons and Dentist Board of Kenya to run as a Hospital and start 24 hour services. Inpatient services started in April 2010.

As part of our corporate social responsibility, we have held various free medical camps at Ruiru Hospital.

Today Nazareth Ruiru Hospital has grown and we started construction of a new building on our land next to Ruiru Girls which was completed June this year. The New Hospital is now fully operational and was opened on June 2013 and its  fully equiped Hospital with a bed capacity of 70 beds.
