Your Care Journey

  1. Admission & Stabilization: Triage, urgent investigations, airway/breathing/circulation support.
  2. Daily Rounds: Review by ICU physician, nurses, and allied teams; goals set for the next 24 hours.
  3. Family Communication: Regular updates; one key contact person is recommended.
  4. Step-Down (HDU) or Transfer: When stable, patients transition to HDU/ward with a handover plan.

Length of stay varies based on condition and response to treatment.

Visiting Policy

To support healing and minimize infection risks, visiting is limited and supervised. Please observe hand hygiene and PPE guidance.

Yes. For privacy, we share detailed updates with the nominated next-of-kin. Please keep one family liaison to streamline communication.
ICU provides the highest level of organ support and monitoring. HDU is a step-down unit for patients who need close observation but less intensive support.
For safety and infection control, overnight stays within ICU are not allowed. We provide designated waiting areas and regular update times.
