Preparing for Your Test

  • Some tests require fasting (e.g., fasting glucose, lipid profile). Confirm instructions when booking.
  • Bring a valid ID, request form, and insurance/SHA card if applicable.
  • For urine/stool tests, collect in a sterile container provided by the hospital.
  • Inform our team about current medication or supplements.

Sample Collection

  • Main phlebotomy desk at the Laboratory reception.
  • Ward-based sampling for inpatients and emergency cases.
  • Special timing for certain tests (e.g., cortisol, ACTH) will be advised.
  • Home/Outreach collection may be arranged on request (subject to availability).
